This Privacy Policy describes how Threads & Snitch ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit threadsandsnitch.com, place an order, or otherwise interact with us.

What we collect

  • Order information: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, the items you buy, and payment confirmation. Card details are processed by Shopify Payments and its partners; we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your login email, order history and saved addresses.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and interactions on the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences: your email address and consent status if you subscribe to our newsletter.

How we use it

  • To make, ship and support your order, including sending order and shipping confirmations.
  • To operate the store, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep the site secure.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it (analytics).
  • To send you marketing emails if you have subscribed; you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
  • To meet legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify Inc. hosts our store and checkout and processes payments. Shopify's own privacy policy is at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Printify, Inc. and its print providers. Every piece is made to order. To produce and deliver it we share your name, shipping address, phone number (for carriers), email (for delivery notifications) and the order contents with Printify and the print provider selected to produce and fulfil your order.   • Carriers (for example Canada Post, USPS, DHL and their partners) receive your name, address and phone number to deliver the parcel.
  • Email and analytics providers we use to send newsletters and understand site traffic (Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, loaded only after you accept optional cookies).
  • Authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

We are based in Canada. Printify and its print providers, Shopify and our carriers may process your information in the United States, the European Union and other countries with different data-protection laws. We rely on contractual safeguards with these providers.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the cart and checkout, and optional analytics and marketing cookies to understand traffic and measure campaigns. Where the law requires it, you will see a consent banner and can accept or decline optional cookies. You can also control cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes (typically seven years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA, Québec's Law 25, the EU/UK GDPR and California's CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Children

The site is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
