माया — Maya. One of the most layered words in Sanskrit philosophy. In the Vedantic tradition, Maya is the cosmic illusion: the veil that makes the material world appear solid and permanent when it is neither. Everything you see, hold, and call real — Maya says it is appearance, not essence. And yet, in everyday Hindi, Maya also means love, affection, tenderness. It is both what deceives and what enchants us.
The white Devanagari letterforms stand against deep black fabric — sharp, precise, respectful of the script's own geometry. Not decorative use of language. A philosophical statement worn on the body: the question of what is real and what is longing, held close to the chest rather than argued in a room. For those who carry both meanings at once — the skeptic and the one who loves anyway.

Quiet luxury, actually.

Really nice quality for the price. Only knocking a star because the sleeves are slightly longer than I'm used to — not a dealbreaker, just heads up if you're between sizes. Embroidery is gorgeous.
