Liminal comes from the Latin word for threshold. A liminal zone is not a place — it is a state of in-between: airport terminals at 3am, the pause between sleeping and waking, the last day of something before the next thing has a name. It is where transformation happens quietly, where old identity dissolves before a new one forms.
The muted sage green carries that feeling: not fully one thing or another, somewhere between outdoor calm and indoor quiet. A marker for people who notice thresholds and choose to stand in them a moment longer.

Quiet luxury, actually.
